sometimes I don't get it,

who would treat you like shit.
Just stop thinking about it,

Sometimes it's easier to
just think about the good times.
But you'll say something that
cuts me back down to size.
Is this not what you wanted?
It seems like to me you are trying to
back out of all these mixed emotions.

Good guys all the time, we have to try harder. Bad guys never try, but seem to go farther. Relationships shouldn't be hard. You fall in love, you fall in love or just break it off.
Why does it feel like I have to try?
